The Canadian Experience Class is for individuals seeking Canadian permanent residency who have at least one (1) year of cumulative managerial (Skill Level 0), professional (Skill Level A) or technical (Skill Level B) work experience gained in Canada.
Minimum requirements
To be eligible, you MUST meet ALL the following criteria.
1. Language level
Meet the required language levels for each language ability of at least one of Canada's official languages, English or French, via an approved test.

Language tests results are valid for two (2) years after the date of the test result.
Your test results must be valid on the day your immigration application is submitted.
2. SKILLED CANADIAN Work experience
Have at least one (1) year of skilled work experience in Canada within the 36 months preceding your application.
This means you worked legally in Canada and have earned a cumulative 1,560 hours of work experience in one or more managerial (Skill Level 0), professional (Skill Level A) or technical (Skill Level B) occupations.
Any hours over 30 per week are not counted.

Show that the work you performed matches the duties set out in the lead statement of the applicable occupational description in the National Occupational Classification. This includes all the essential duties and most of the main duties indicated.
Self-employment and work gained while you were a full-time student, such as during a co-op work term, does not count towards the required hours of skilled work experience.
3. EMPLOYMENT OFFER
There is no employment offer requirement for the Canadian Experience Class.
4. Education
There is no education requirement for the Canadian Experience Class.
5. PROOF OF FUNDS
There is no proof of funds requirement for the Canadian Experience Class.
6. WHERE YOU CAN LIVE IN CANADA
Plan to live outside Québec. The province of Québec selects its own skilled workers.

7. ADMISSIBILITY
Be admissible to Canada. You and your family members must not be inadmissible to Canada for security, criminal or medical reasons.
